Alumni & Friends
Welcome Virginia Tech Alumni!
This is the new Alumni section of our Hillel at Virginia Tech website. Look for new and exciting developments as we add to our resources and activities.
We hope that in the future our Hillel alumni networking will provide a place to connect online to renew and maintain:
- social, personal and professional relationships with fellow alumni,
- plan and publicize programs,
- develop opportunities to host alumni and student events in other cities,
- and to communicate with one another.
In addition, this connection will serve to promote the interests, needs, and relationship of Jewish alumni and students at Virginia Tech. Networking with Hillel alumni will serve as a source of ideas, recommendations, and information to Hillel at Virginia Tech to help facilitate a positive experience for Jewish students.

Betty Ann (Levy) Levin class of '92“I am a Hokie Alum, class of '92; my husband is class of '88; my brother class of '84; my father class of '55 and my grandfather, class of '26. I think my blood may run orange & Maroon! I can not tell you clearly enough how all of you have been continuously in my thoughts since the morning of April 16th. The Hokie “Nation” is so strong and we all stand united with you as together, we will heal. Even as images of our beautiful campus were shown all over the world news, in the context of tragedy, Virginia Tech remains the most beautiful, peaceful, wonderful place on earth in my heart.”
Bennett Nathanson class of '47“I'm Proud that Hillel is so strong at VPI. Keep standing up and be proud that you are Jewish.”
