Welcome back from Break!
Hillel at Virginia Tech presents:
The Malcolm Rosenberg Hillel Center for Jewish Life
to be built across from the Virginia Tech campus
The new building for Hillel at Virginia Tech will provide an inclusive, nurturing environment with programming space needed for Jewish cultural, educational, social, and religious activities.
Hillel at Virginia Tech has received a generous $1 million challenge gift from Diane Rosenberg to memorialize her late husband Malcolm Rosenberg's commitment to help Hillel at Virginia Tech and the next generation of Jewish people and the world.
Hillel at Virginia Tech's Executive Director, Sue Kurtz, speaks often about Malcolm's influence on Jewish life at Virginia Tech.
"Malcolm Rosenberg was always giving, unselfish and not afraid to be who he was. He changed my way of thinking and made me more compassionate and more giving. Malcolm challenged me and all of Hillel at Virginia Tech to push beyond where we were. I have grown so much from our relationship. He was a unique person and a person of influence in my life. He continues to influence me and help me grow." |

It takes many partners to send a student to college and support them when they get there. Today, parents, synagogues, temples, federations, foundations, campus, individuals, friends and many others play a greater role than ever before in students' choices.
